Q:

I see on the Rosetta Stone website that the "version" of software works with Windows 8, but does THIS OFFERRED software work on Windows 8? Does the software only work from the CDs or can all of it be loaded on the computer hard drive so that you do not need the CDs in the drive?

David G.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

Yes, this is compatible with Windows 8. The program can be installed and activated on the computer and the disks don't need to be loaded to use the program.

Q:

I have a MacMini computer - it doesn't have a disc drive. Does Rosetta Stone come as several discs that have to be inserted into the computer, and if so, are there alternatives for a Mac? Are the discs able to be used indefinitely on my own - over many years? (Something was mentioned earlier about a 3 month timeline - what does that refer to?)

Sandra S.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

The program comes on disks but we also offer a download link if your computer doesn't have a disk drive. Yes, the discs are able to be used indefinitely.

Q:

I bought this b4 & it said it included 3 months online as well, but when i logged in to use it it said i had none available. How do i get my 3 months online?

siovhan c.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

The 3 months expire 6 months after the purchase date. If the purchase date was within the last 6 months, you need to claim them by clicking 'Yes' when prompted by the program. If it has been more than 6 months since the purchase date, you will need to purchase renewals on the Rosetta Stone website.
