I gave these a lot of time to sprout. Only 8/18 did (I purchased 2 packs). Plus, I assumed "assorted" actually meant "not the mundane green and white that I see in everyone's front yard," but that's what I got. Oh hum. I regret my purchase and will not be purchasing from this vendor again. I also struck out with the Stargazer lily package, so I may forego purchases plants on Groupon all together.
9 root clusters....no leaves. You can't tell what color or variety you are planting. All nine root clusters did eventually sprout, though. If the roots had been labeled, I could have arranged them accordingly.
On the plus side, I got ten plants, instead of nine. On the minus side, there were only three varieties. My bad for interpreting \"9 assorted\" to mean \"9 different - I wouldn't have ordered otherwise.
Six of the nine assorted hosta plants are still alive. These were roots more than actual plants. Some were extremely dried out and they did not look like they survived. The ones that survived seem to be doing well and have sent up leaves.
