Q:

Are you able to change the TV from 3D to normal viewing or do you need to use the glasses everytime you watch the TV?

Maureen E.  asked on  Jan 14, 2013

A:

You do not need any glasses for normal 2D viewing. It functions just as any other HDTV in 2D mode.

You only need 3D glasses to view 3D programming in 3D, and it's completely optional. You can toggle on 3D mode via the remote.

Q:

Will I need special glasses and, if so, are they included? What other components will I need to see 3D?

Bob D.  asked on  Jan 14, 2013

A:

You would just need active shutter 3D glasses and 3D source material to view on the TV. It has a 2D to 3D conversion for non-3D native programming, but the effect will be much more subtle than content produced in 3D.
