Q:

I know the blue light technology is clinically proven (by FDA I think) to kill acne bacterial. But I've never heard about any evidence that proves green light is effective for hyperpigmentation. Is the green light also clinically proven? And the red light?

Q:

How large is the treatment area or how many LED does each treatment head have? How long does each treatment head last? Is it returnable?

Duxing W.  asked on  Oct 24, 2013

A:

The treatment surface area is 4.7 square inches and has 33 LED's.

Aurora is designed with high-end components; the LEDs should never need to be replaced.

Q:

For how long does this device last? Thanks!

Elina B.  asked on  Oct 25, 2013

A:

LED lights are medical grade and each treatment panel should last up to 50,000 hours of use. 50,000 hours equates to 136 years of usage even if you use it for an hour every single day. So it's very unlikely that your device will exceed 50,000 hours.
