Q:

So, if I have an older TV with no HDMI outputs, this item will not work. Is this correct? Thanks for your help!

Michelle D.  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

That is correct. This device can only connect to a TV via HDMI cable.

Allison J.  from  Self  replied on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

You can actually get a HDMI to RCA converter (assuming your TV has RCA connections) that will allow a HDMI device to work. Note, you need the Hdmi to RCA Converter not just the HDMI to RCA cable.

This depends on the limitations of your Hulu account. If your account allows you do stream to two different devices at a time then yes!

Q:

I have an older tv, can I just use a HDMI converter or does that mean my tv can't do HD?

kim b.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

It only has an HDMI connection for video. It may work with some sort of convertor to an SD connection, but such a convertor would likely be uncommon. Perhaps it would work if you had a receiver with an HDMI input and SD outputs that could downsize HD video, but again that might be unlikely.

Q:

I want to make sure I understand how this works. Is this like hooking up a WII and using Netflix? I would hook this box up to a t.v. And I can wirelessly stream Netflix on a tv that is HD, assuming that I have wireless in that room?

Traci C.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

That's correct. For example many TVs have Smart TV apps and Wifi connections for streaming video services built in. However if your TV does not, this provides a similar alternative.
