Q:

Does this work with Mac as well as PC's/ Thanks.

Linda S.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

Unless using the Intel WiDi feature of the NTV200S, which requires a WiDi-capable laptop, you can use either to activate any services requiring a subscription. The player would simply connect to your internet network and to the TV via HDMI.

Q:

What is the difference between the 2? there is not information on them

Lionel M.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

The two models share these features:
Enjoy streaming content with hundreds of online channels for your TV
Plays 1080p HD and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus
Built-in wireless (WiFi b/g/n)
iOS/Android remote app for ease of navigation
Ethernet
300Mbps WiFi for a strong connection and smooth streaming

The difference is that the 200S displays your laptop screen on the TV wirelessly using Intel WiDi.

Please note you would need an Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) capable laptop in order to view your laptop screen on the TV wirelessly.

Q:

My TV is internet capable but I'm not able to connect because the signal isnt strong enough from one end of the house to the other. Would you consider this a internet booster? I am able to use my laptop in the same room.

donna b.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

This would not boost your current wireless signal. However it does have an Ethernet port if a wired internet connection is an option for you.

Q:

Do you have to subscribe to a service for this to work or do you just need Internet access?

Barbara M.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

Depending on the video service, you may need a subscription. For example, you can access YouTube without a paid subscription, but would need a Netflix subscription to use its service.
