Solid Copper Beating Bowls

These solid copper bowls are designed to withstand even the most vigorous chefs. Besides taking a beating, they also boast another benefit for bakers and cooks alike—with an ionic reaction—the copper may add more volume to egg whites, creating lighter cakes and fluffier omelets. The brass thumb ring on the side of each bowl allows for a firm grip during whipping and makes them easy to hang for out-of-the-way storage.

  • Untreated solid copper bowls
  • Tarnish-resistant
  • Ionic-copper reaction may add volume to egg whites and stop lightening from hitting your soufflé
  • Brass thumb rings for firm grip when whipping and easy hanging and storage
  • Wash with warm, soapy water
  • Hand wash only

It is much lighter in weight than I thought it would be. Also has several "imperfections" that look as though it was mishandled. Second bad deal for me from Groupon. 2 out of 2.

The bowl is great quality. Beautiful shiny outside that I hope I can maintain. 5 qt size is great for big batches of egg whites. Can't wait to use it for the next cake I bake.

How is it considered a mixing bowl when the bottom is round??! Or does everyone else in the world that uses a mixer hold the bowl in their hand while they mix? Who thought this was a good idea??
