There must be cardboard or other supports in the product photos to make the towels look fuller, because the ones I received were not nearly this thick or plush, either out of the box, or on first wash.
If by Egyptian cotton they mean they feel like sand - then yes, I guess they can get away with saying that, because these are the scratchiest towels I've ever owned, including the cheap ones I owned in college.
Calling these 'Spa Collection\" is a joke, unless \"spa\" is the newest term for 'Correctional Facility\".
I purchased these because of the low price, which usually provides a quality service or product through groupon - I hope this isn't the quality of all groupon products for sale...
I was expecting plush, thick towels, or \"spa\" quality, but these towels are very thin, similar to a kitchen terrycloth towel. I washed them thinking perhaps they would get fluffier, but that was not the case. I thought I would have 30 days to return, and because of my hectic schedule finally attempted to return them at 3-week mark, only to discover I only had 14 days to return. On a positive note, the color is pretty, but the towels are very thin, and we won't use as bath towels. We will try to find another use for them!
These towels are very cheap in quality. I bought them for use in my master bathroom and I can't stand the look of the cheap material so I shoved them into the linen closet for back up guest towels or something. There is no way these towels are anywhere near the quality described in the ad and I can't imagine anyone paying the stated \"full retail price\" of I believe $80 +-
I think I've learned my lesson not to buy \"quality\" household goods from Groupon ads anymore. We will stick to restaurant coupons from now on.
The towels arrived as stated, proper colors, proper amount and size. The towels were much thinner than I had anticipated per the description, and they are NOT absorbent at all. I've used them for a month or so at this point thinking they may just need to be broken in after a few uses, that is not the case. They are still not absorbent at all. Very soft, though.
The towels are Extremely thin, and the quality is cheap. I was going to use them for house guests coming , but I would be embarrassed putting them out. Extremely disappointed. I would never go to their site. I'm surprised Groupon authorized this product? I would have returned the set but was called out of town unexpectedly and did not have time.
When I first took the towels out of the package I thought they felt a little thin, but they fluffed up some after washing. I would describe them as a good medium weight towel set and well worth the price considering what towels sell for in the stores.
Although a good deal at the Groupon price, the towels are lighter weight than I expected from the quoted\"value\" and the color of the dark brown is still bleeding when washed, leading me to think they may look faded quickly.Good absorbency though.
This is my third set of egyptian towels I have ordered through Groupon. They are a little thinner than the last two sets I ordered but I still prefer the egyptian towels they dry faster than normal towels.
I just love them, the only thing I can't get them into my hoop to embroidery machine to sew on them they are so nice and thick, and the color is just beautiful I will find a way later to do that thank you so much for my order.
The color and quality met my expectations and the shipping time was excellent. I ordered several sets of these towels as Christmas gifts for younger friends that are setting up house.
