Tasting notes:

• Zaca Mesa Syrah: A sensational California Syrah, has both richness and elegance, displaying complex aromas and flavors of bright blackberry, spiced plum, raspberry, dried violets, pepper and savory sage spice. A touch of smoky oak enhances the wine’s long and balanced finish.
• Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded this Syrah an impressive 88 points.

• Lar de Oro Tempranillo–Syrah: Coming from the Extremadura region of Spain, this Syrah uses grapes from older vines which lend a nice maturity and complexity. This wine is a mix of about 75% Tempranillo (Spain’s signature varietal) and 25% Syrah, which tempers and adds elegance to the blend. This wine can accompany almost any dish.
• La Marchesina Nero d’Avola Terre Siciliane: Grown in the fertile soils and long, cloudless summers of Sicily, the Nero d’Avola has become one of Sicily’s most important indigenous red wine varietals. This wine is a full-bodied and nicely-balanced blend that offers bright, fruity flavors balanced by a spicy, herbal earthiness, making it a perfect compliment to pasta dishes and roasted meats.
• Placer Andaluz Tempranillo–Syrah: Blending Spanish Tempranillo with French Syrah grapes, this wine offers a nice fruit forward wine balanced with underlying notes of peppery spice.
• Primi Soli Cabernet: This Italian Cabernet is robust and bold, balancing strong red fruit flavors with a note of toasty vanilla and lingering tannins.
• Totally Random Red Blend: Blending the rich flavors of plums, boysenberries, and blueberries, the Totally Random Red can be enjoyed with almost any food— from BBQ to dessert— and can be served slightly chilled or at room temperature.
• Encostas do Coa Tinto: Grown on the scenic, rocky slopes of the Coa River in Portugal, the Rufete, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grapes that go into this wine are virtually unknown in the United States. These delicious grapes make this ruby-colored blend a prime example of the region, with a fruity aroma and a rounded palate and smooth tannins.
• Volcanes Reserva Carmenere: Grown in the Andes Mountains, the Carmenere is the grape that put Chile on the wine-producing map. This full-bodied wine immediately impresses with its visually-striking, dark violet color, and follows with a strong nose of black fruits, dark chocolate, and hints of toast and olives.
