This tree brought me a lot of joy. It gave me a lot of figs. Until a hard freeze of 2/14/2021.

Besides producing flavorful fruit, fig trees lend themselves readily to pruning and espaliering much to the delight of ambitious gardeners

I realized after I received the little 4" cutting that I could have purchsed it directly from the grower's website for $9.99! Not exactly a great deal, since I paid $16.99 after the Groupon "discount"! Growing and care instructions would have been a welcome addition! I'm keeping my overpriced fig "tree" on a sunny windowsill until next spring and hoping for the best.
