The Last of Us

The Last of Us is a bleak, survivalist sage that follows reluctant duo Joel and Ellie across a militarized post-apocalyptic America overrun by fungal monsters. This edition has been remastered for the PlayStation 4, with higher-resolution character models and improved atmospherics.

Gameplay

As Joel, players must carefully take out a multitude of undead and human enemies without riling the herd. Stealth is absolutely necessary, as weapons are scarce and must be used strategically. As you make your way across abandoned cities and subways, ingenuity is the only way to carve your own path.

Environment

Overgrown weeds sprout from shattered concrete in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Joel and Ellie explore endless city streets, abandoned buildings, and manmade colonies filled with unsavory characters. Creeping shadows clash against beams of heavenly light as they bounce off broken skyscrapers, where shambling zombies leap out from empty doorways.
