The bed just arrived. It is a cheap, thin piece of carpet. The fleece on it is falling off everywhere. I can’t use this for my lab. He will have it for breakfast. There is no padding to it at all. I have no idea how this thing can get such high reviews. It is inexpensive but in this case newspaper would almost be better. I am definitely going to be heading to the store for a replacement.
This is the third mat I’ve purchased. My senior toy poodle loves napping on it so much that I keep them in several of her favorite spots. She tends to leak while sleeping on occasion and the mat keeps her dry. I don’t know what it is about these but she truly does love them! I’ve washed the mats many times and air dried with no problems.
This pet mat is so incredibly soft. My dog jumped on it when it was laid out for him. It has plenty of room for him to cuddle up all cozy. We have a bigger dog so we are probably going to order the xtra large one for her. She tries to lay on his pet mat but she won't fit and he does not want to share it with her. So happy to have found a pet mat that can actually be washed and not shrink or fall apart like so many other pet mats that we have owned. Highly recommend buying a couple if you travel with your dog or have a couple of different places they like laying.
