Synchs by scanning a QR code. The synch is hard to do because of the reflective surface. Weight measurement is inconsistent, and is 2-4 pounds off from the scale at my gym. However, this is a cost effective way to measure body fat reduction.
The scale part works fine, but it is really hard to line up my phone so the bar code registers. Most of the time, I give up and manually enter my weight--which kind of defeats the purpose of buying this scale.
Easy to use, fairly accurate, easy to sync with the QR code to your phone app (as long as you don't have a glare.) The app could be a little more user friendly with regards to tracking trends, but over all a great deal for groupon price (I wouldn't have paid full price).
Mine stopped working after one week of inconsistent use. Wasn't user error, didn't bang it around, it wasn't dead batteries, just a low quality product. The bluetooth feature is highly overrated. It gives you a QR code to scan on an app phone, so it is NOT bluetooth. I had to manually log it 9/10 times anyway.
Hard to sync with your app due to the screen reflective surface. Weight that is shows is not accurate. I weigh myself and it shows 168. I step on again and now I am 169.5. What????
Next day magically I was 157. Next day after that 156lbs. And day later I was 167. Why would you need scale that does not show you weight accurately? Pathetic product
