This was our first screened porch. I bought it for our large deck to keep bugs away so we can enjoy meals and games on a table. It keeps bird poop off of our table, 95% of the bugs stay out (some do get through the space between the top and the side). The zipper is rather annoying especially when you're trying to bring things in and out. The side screens are not attached to the roof, but are velcro-attached. We can't anchor it but we have weights to hold it in place. The mild breezes have moved the tent, and 2 of the poles are already look like they are beginning to bow out. There are NO instructions or recommendations for use anywhere in the packaging. We're somewhat satisfied but I'm definitely afraid it won't last us much longer than 2 summers. We've had it up for 1 month and 1 rain shower. I was hoping for something that would endure better, and would rather have something that keeps all the bugs out. The tent is very thin on top and all around. I would say I'm satisfied since we've spent almost every night out on the deck, with friends and family. If it lasts 5 years I will say it was somewhat worth the money.
It comes in a very nice rolling case. Set-up takes 5 minutes (two people makes it easier, but it can be accomplished by 1 if you know what you're doing). Very good construction! Frame is made of solid square metal tubing that's pre-assembled. I love that it can be used as a sun-shade without the screens attached! The top material seems very durable and water tight. I look forward to using this for years to come!
