I already have the game, plus the expansion after the one listed. But am interested in paying the asking price listed for the groupon ($5) for the extra month of game time (its normally $15 per month). If I buy the groupon can I just add the game time to my existing account?

Q:

What does it mean when it says you're getting game time? You have to pay to play? You can't just play the game online with your friends like other games?

Krystle S.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

You would need to have online game time to play. This includes free month of game time, and you may purchase 30 additional days of game time with second option.

Q:

Do you have to play online or does this pack also include regular pc gameplay?

Bobby K.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Below is some information about the game from the manufacturer that may be of help:

What is World of Warcraft? World of Warcraft is an online game where players from around the world assume the roles of heroic fantasy characters and explore a virtual world full of mystery, magic, and endless adventure.

Most multiplayer games can accommodate anywhere from two up to several dozen simultaneous players in a game. Massively multiplayer games, however, can have thousands of players in the same game world at the same time, interacting with each other. They are, as the name suggests, massive.

Unlike most games, MMORPGs do not have an offline mode; you need to be connected to the Internet while you play. This doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy these games alone; World of Warcraft offers plenty of content to players who want to go it solo. But since you share a virtual world with other players, you need to be connected to the Internet to join in the fun. Much of the game’s advanced content is geared towards groups of players working together to explore dangerous dungeons and defeat powerful monsters.
