My apologies for the multiple answers! The receiver is rechargeable, and comes with the battery already installed, along with the cable to charge it.

Sorry for the delay and confusion! This is only a receiver. The receiver will not send information to your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g. a tablet).

Sorry for the delay! You will only be able to use this receiver in your car if it has a 3.5mm jack. If your car does not have this, then you cannot use this receiver.
