Does the "eggcrate" side go on the bottom like in the picture with the baby?

This all depends on customer preference, some prefer the convoluted side, other the flat side. This topper gives you both options.

The 3" is recommended for better back support. I am sorry but I do not have information about the ILD firmness rating.

Q:

The 2" queen mattress topper only weight 16 lbs shipping which contraindicated with other website for 3 lbs per cubic feet (their is 96 lbs shipping weight???) Why is there an extreme differences?

Bien D.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

I apologize for the confusion. The previous question was referring to the density of the mattress, not its weight. The topper is 16lbs.

Math has never been my strong suit. Saying that the topper will be smaller than the actual mattress, are you saying that the 56" x 76" topper will be a proper fit for 60" x 79" mattress?

Ilene L.  asked on  Mar 13, 2013

A:

That is correct. The toppers do measure slightly smaller than the mattress.
