The Uncorked Wine Festival takes place Saturday, May 9, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Ghirardelli Square. General admission includes access to wine tastings, live entertainment, and an art tent.

VIPs receive access to top-tier tastings, lounge seating, sparkling wines, a DJ set, and gift bags. They may also purchase wines for delivery; 30% of the proceeds from those orders benefit Save the Bay.

Ghirardelli Square Uncorked Wine Festival

Spilling across the brick plazas of Ghirardelli Square, the Uncorked Wine Festival tickles tongues with elixirs from more than 50 wineries. Tickets in hand, oenophiles meander through the bottle-stocked booths, picking out pours to delicately swirl, sniff, and surreptitiously pour in the extra mouth atop their head. A food-truck court adjoins the main festival to peddle tasty treats to attendees. Live music wafts across the square while guests soak in new knowledge during wine-education seminars and cooking demos from top San Francisco chefs. Proceeds go to Save the Bay, which is dedicated to cleaning up the city’s defining body of water.
