Two Options at Ginger Brown's Old Tyme Restaurant & Bakery

  • $10 for $20 worth of homestyle American fare
  • $20 for $40 worth of homestyle American fare for four or more

Ginger Brown was 20 years old when she decided that rather than serving in the church, like her father, she could faithfully serve in the kitchen. More than two decades and four million customers later, Ginger still warms guests' bellies and souls with country-fried steak and shrimp, more than 25 homestyle sides, and juicy half-pound burgers, which are an ideal addition to any free-weight set. Early risers can also enjoy two fresh eggs with the Aigs and Company ($3.99) or a homemade cinnamon roll with coffee and juice ($4.29). The menu includes real Texas chicken-fried steak in country gravy ($9.59), mother's pot roast with green beans, carrots and potatoes ($9.59), Effe Mae's crispy catfish ($11.29), or southern cinnamon apple pancakes with whipped cream ($5.79).

Good food
Larry W. · November 26, 2016
Great food, good Sr. menu at reasonable prices. I also like the fact that they offer discounted meals to veterans and other men in uniform. Even teachers have a special day. Ginger Brown's is a great example of a home owned business that deserves our patronage.
