Hosted at the home ice of the Peaks Figure Skating Club, the Pacific Coast Sectional Figure Skating Championships unite the top figure skaters from throughout the western third of the United States as they attempt to qualify for the national championships in January. Throughout the four-day competition, entrants of all qualifying ages display their elegant routines in a variety of disciplines. On Saturday and Sunday, juvenile and intermediate skaters take to the ice for free skates, short programs, and short dances before the junior and senior classes show off their more advanced skills Monday and Tuesday by constantly hopping over the leftover ice carvings. All events take place at the Peaks Ice Arena’s two Olympic-sized rinks—both of which served as ice-hockey venues in 2002.

Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.
