2015 Big West Men’s Basketball Semifinals
The Big West semifinals will determine which two teams advance to the the conference final the following evening, but there’s more than just a title on the line. The conference winner also receives a guaranteed berth into the NCAA Tournament. Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Long Beach State, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, and Hawaii will all compete for the berth, but UC Davis stands above the rest as the team to beat or to imitate when trying to impress strangers. The Aggies lost only one game in January and one in February, igniting a hot streak that may carry them onto the national stage.
