What You'll Get

The best live bands have honed their chemistry through hours spent rehearsing in the studio, improvising onstage, and playing games of MASH on the tour bus. Get out of the shack and pile all eight kids into the Ferrari for this deal to one G-Pass to see 311 and Slightly Stoopid at Gexa Energy Pavilion. For $20, you get one G-Pass for reserved covered seating in sections 200–201 or 204–205 on Thursday, July 12, at 7 p.m. (up to a $53.54 value, including all fees). Because the ticket is a G-Pass, our customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at Will-Call. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

This summer on the Unity Tour 2012, 311 and Slightly Stoopid roll through the continent with their signature trippy reggae beats and sun-splashed thrashing. 311’s five-piece band broke out of Omaha in the mid-‘90s with their blend of sing-along choruses and optimistic rap lyrics, propelled into the microphone by dueling vocalists S.A. Martinez and Nick Hexum. Their triple-platinum, self-titled album scored the first and second spots on the Billboard charts with the hooky effects pedals of “Down” and the funky bass of “All Mixed Up.”

Slightly Stoopid throws similar rock- and reggae-laced beats throughout a discography that goes back to a self-titled release in 1996. During their live sets, the deep grooves of guitar and conga players stretch the songs in surprising directions, like a walrus trying to shimmy into sweatpants. Opening act The Aggrolites aim to uncover the golden-era ska sounds buried beneath the ’90s fuzz of the headliners in a live show they’ve honed over years of touring with the British and Jamaican legends they idolize.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through the mobile app.
