Motorcycles combine the coolness of James Dean, the stylishness of leather clothing, and the convenience of jumping every gorge in the neighbourhood. Witness all aspects of two-wheeled entertainment with today's Groupon: for $12, you get one ticket to see Motopsycho Mania at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre on Sunday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m. (a $25 value). Reserved seating is in the lower 100-level sections highlighted in red.
Rocking arenas with three stunt attractions and a live industrial rock concert, Motopsycho Mania throttles audiences with a loud, high-energy spectacle of motorcycles and music. From the lower-level seats near the arena’s floor, fans catch the reverberations ricocheting off the engines of freestyle motocross jumpers as they flip and fly over 70-foot ramp-to-ramp sets. Inside the Globe of Death, an extreme roadway inside a 20-foot round steel cage, up to three riders flaunt gravity's grasp and mock the quaintness of snow globes by clinging their tires along all orientations of the spherical nest. Next, a fleet of street bikes parade past the crowd, saluting with vertical and nose wheelies. For the finale, LA-based alternative rock band Means to an End assaults sound waves with rough riffs, heavy beats, and distorted lyrics inspired by the classic tome Rocking and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
