New York Life ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament
On March 10, the New York Life ACC Tournament will tip-off with 14 teams vying for the conference crown. Five days later, only one team will be left standing. A year ago, top-seeded Virginia emerged victorious from a tournament that saw several upsets, including North Carolina State toppling second-seeded Syracuse during the quarterfinals.
This season, the Cavaliers once again find themselves atop the ACC standings along with North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, and Louisville. But even the teams ranked lower in the conference standings pack plenty of star power, specifically Boston College, whose Olivier Hanlan leads the ACC with just under 19 points per game. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons, meanwhile, feature double-double threat Devin Thomas, and the Miami Hurricanes rely on 7-foot center Tonye Jekiri to haul in rebounds and wipe smudges off the top of the backboard.
