What You’ll Do
The meaning of life—Alexander Dunlop hopes to help people find no less. During his 90-minute workshop, he unpacks methods for clearing the mind and connecting to the unconscious while indigenous Shamanic music plays. He then reveals how he found his own life’s purpose in something entirely unexpected: playing cards.
Guests sip a medicinal brew made from lingzhi, maitake, shiitake, king oyster, and agaricus mushrooms blended with pine-smoked black tea leaves from China.
The session starts and ends with meditation. Alexander teaches a simple, effective technique learned in India.
The Meaning of Life
Alexander shares his life’s story, including why he left his Wall Street job to search for the meaning of life. He then performs a mini-reading for each person that offers an explanation of which cards to play and what those cards mean for them and their life purpose.
It’s not surprising that Alexander Dunlop found the meaning of life—after all, he studied philosophy at Harvard, trained as a Roman Catholic priest, and was even initiated as a Swami while living in India. But it wasn’t in the hallowed halls of a cathedral, an Ivy League campus, or an ashram that he made his ultimate discovery; it was at a party in Brooklyn, where he learned the real meaning of playing cards. From there, he left his job on Wall Street, found the meaning of life, and began leading others on their own spiritual journeys.
