Amish Country Theater: Available Performances
- Somewhere Over the Silo: The Jonas Brothers make an appearance, but it’s not the duo most would be expecting—instead, it’s an Amish comedy duo who join the gossiping Fannie Mae and a storytelling man named Lynyrd in this family-friendly variety show featuring live bluegrass music and ventriloquist Ken Groves. Acts include Lynyrd’s trumpet routine, a series of letters between Jonas and his long-lost love, and a story about Amish I.T.
- Kickin’ Chicken: What do a bluegrass concert, a dating game, an ill-fated presidential campaign, and a ventriloquist have in common? They’re all a part of variety show Farmed & Dangerous. Acts include parodies from the Jonas Brothers, a Lynyrd’s absurd, interactive Story Time, and a rare treat for fans of that real old-fashioned rock-n-roll—a sighting of the “Amish Elvis.”

About Amish Country Theater
Of all the things to fill an Amish barn, a variety show is among the least likely. But that's exactly what's inside Amish Country Theater. In a space that boasts the same rustic, wooden construction of a real Amish barn, comedians and musicians lob punchlines and fiddle solos while audiences slap their knees and tap their toes. But the venue isn't totally rooted in the old ways. Climate control plus state-of-the-art sound and lighting transform it into a fitting venue for daily performances. Just outside the theater entrance, meanwhile, the Barnyard Fixins' stand sells tasty treats to keep tummy rumbles from distracting from the performance or attracting lonely bears looking for others to growl with.
