“ANIMALOOZA is unlike anything in children’s entertainment,” says creator Shane DeRolf. “It combines books, videos and live-events in the most creative ways possible. It speaks the language of children—a language we grown-ups sometimes forget. It’s a language called FUN!” As the mind behind the Emmy-winning television series Big Green Rabbit and author of popular children's books such as The Crayon That Talked , DeRolf understand the mechanics of making learning fun for younger minds. During ANIMALOOZA, children are immersed in an interactive mission to save animals from extinction. Led by Detective Thing, an adorable blue and pink rabbit/cat/thing, the journey teaches kids about the natural world through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic stimulation. The show features sing-along songs and dances that draw on the creators' trademarked theory of "FUN-Dimensional Learning," which emphasizes play as children's natural method of education.
