What You'll Get
Comedy has long been used to subvert the established order, shedding light on modern life’s pervasive absurdities and fomenting distrust of potentially seltzer-filled boutonnieres. Discover some rollicking truths with this deal to the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. Choose between the following options:
- For $12, you get two general admissions (up to a $28 value).
- For $22, you get four general admissions (up to a $56 value). <p>
The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase’s live standup performances have been goochy-gooing funnybones for more than 25 years. Numerous celebrities—including Drew Carey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Tim Allen—have joked their way to fame from the Showcase stage, preventing their devolvement into working as safety-video stunt doubles. Seasoned funnyman and cancer survivor Ken Evans (June 15–16), who’s made appearances on Last Comic Standing and Caroline’s Comedy Hour, proves that laughter can help overcome life’s many tribulations during a set of relatable, observational humor that spotlights his infectious energy and down-to-earth style. Boston native Spike Tobin (June 22–23) and his booming voice can be heard echoing through the club as he delivers rapid-fire jokes on a variety of racy topics, such as religion, firearms, and his Irish heritage.

About Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase
Before they were household names, Ellen DeGeneres, Tim Allen, and Drew Carey were performers at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. The establishment, once dubbed by Rolling Stone as “one of the best clubs between the coasts,” has been corralling burgeoning stars to its stage since its 1984 inception when it was called Mainstreet Comedy Showcase. Several nights a week, nationally touring comedians who’ve graced the stages of Late Show with David Letterman and Showtime’s Comics Without Borders share witty observations, humorous songs, and intense eye contact with brave audience members in the front row.
