In today's world, people can no longer rely on court jesters to check meals for poison or retell Hamlet as a family comedy. Enjoy the versatility of more contemporary performers with today’s GrouponLive deal: for $12, you get one general-admission ticket to see comedian and writer Hannibal Buress perform at Arlington Cinema 'N' Drafthouse (a $24 value). Choose from the following dates:

• Thursday, September 8, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
• Friday, September 9, at 9:55 p.m. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
• Saturday, September 10, at 9:55 p.m. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.

Arlington Cinema 'N' Drafthouse welcomes audiences into its cozy theater-restaurant hybrid with open arms to enjoy national and international talents. Sweeping September with a fertile broom of bristling jokes, comedian Hannibal Buress takes the stage for three nights of unfiltered hilarity, transmogrifying frowns with disarming charisma, a reposed demeanor, and the timing of a safe-cracker with a necklace of sports watches. Chicago native Buress has burrowed himself in the ear-homes of millions with his winning humor and notable work as a writer on comedy mainstays such as Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. His unpredictable standup routine is prop-free, striking a nerve instead with relatable observational humor delivered with deadpan precision. Now is the best time to catch Hannibal's act before his rising star floats away like Galileo’s soufflé.

Customer Reviews

Keep being great

It was fun to do something different. The people that worked at Drafthouse Comedy were very friendly. The theater was small so you felt like you were part of the show. All seats had a good view of the stage. A positive experience, I would go back again.
