Lend Me a Tenor
It’s the biggest event in the Cleveland Grand Opera’s history: the world’s most famous tenor, Tito “Il Stupendo” Morelli, will be performing Verdi’s Otello. But when the celebrity arrives, trouble comes with him in the form of swooning female fans and an angry, jealous wife. Add in an accidental overdose of tranquilizers, and the opera company is left without their star attraction. Fortunately, Tito’s costume happens to fit his harried assistant Max perfectly, meaning he just might be able to fool the audience—but can he fool the various women in the singer’s life?
