Simply put, Arsenio Hall is one of the most influential comics of the past three decades. After all, how many comedians can claim to have played a prominent role in getting a president in the Oval Office (besides Reagan’s chimpanzee pal Bonzo, of course)? But even beyond Bill Clinton’s sax solo, Arsenio has hosted some of the most unforgettable moments in television, such as Mike Tyson after his knockout of Frank Bruno or a performance from MC Hammer at the height of his popularity—all the while keeping court with his easy wit and natural charm.
Now Arsenio has taken his iconic persona to a live stage. He’ll seize the spotlight at theatres across the country with sets built around current commentary and tinged with nostalgia. During 2016, Arsenio will once again be a staple on primetime television, too. He’ll host ABC’s Greatest Hits, a series dedicated to the music of the 1980s, 90s, and 00s.
