The Scouting Report

As the ECHL celebrates its 25th season, the relatively young IceMen continue to stake their rightful claim in the league's standings. After amassing 92 points last season, including 69 assists, selfless center Todd Robinson returns to lead the roster along with familiar IceMen Matt Gens and Josh Beaulieu. On December 1, the team looks to topple the elite Kalamazoo Wings, who fell to the Florida Everblades in last year's Eastern Conference finals.

Evansville IceMen

It didn't take long for the first professional hockey team in Evansville to make their mark; in just their second year in the All American Hockey League, in 2010, the fledgling IceMen won the Davidson Cup in seven games. Though that first clan of IceMen has since gone extinct, the team soon resurrected as part of the ECHL, where they serve as the minor-league affiliate of the Ottawa Senators.
