What You'll Get
Without music, concerts wouldn’t exist and “funk” would just be the smell emanating from an old sock filled with corn. Lend an ear with this deal to see Olga Tañón at House of Blues Orlando. For $28, you get general admission on Saturday, October 13, at 9:30 p.m. (up to a $57 value, including fees). Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Because the ticket is a G-Pass, our customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their voucher at will cal.
Olga Tañón is no stranger to House of Blues Orlando. In 2000, the five-time Grammy winner nabbed her first golden gramophone for her live album Olga Viva, Viva Olga, which she recorded at the venue. That album in particular showcases the energetic blend of merengue and Latin pop that Tañón regularly dishes out with the fevered pitch of a track like “Muchacho Malo” or the sweeping, heartfelt sentiment of a song such as “Basta Ya.” Although the native Puerto Rican musician first broke out as a merengue superstar in the early 1990s, she crossed over into mainstream Latin pop, reinventing herself along the way with the back-to-basics statement album Una Nueva Mujer. Throughout Tañón’s two-decade career as a recording artist, fans have shaken their hips to more than 20 of her albums, which the singer revisits in live concert performances as fiery and passionate as a furnace stoked with old high-school love letters.
Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through the mobile app.
