Standup comedians typically draw from real life, such as bad relationships or how the zoo is crazy. Life's a riot with this GrouponLive deal to see Laugh-A-Palooza at Meadow Brook Music Festival on Sunday, August 26, at 7 p.m. Choose between the following seating options:

  • For $12, you get one ticket for reserved pavilion seating in rows T–HH (up to a $24.95 value, including all fees).
  • For $25, you get one ticket for VIP pavilion seating in rows A–L (up to a $35.55 value, including all fees) and an postshow meet and greet with comics (a $14.45 value; a $50 total value).

The annual Laugh-A-Palooza unites high-octane motormouths from the Motor City with a slew of globetrotting chuckle salesmen. Kyle Dunnigan headlines this year’s show, displaying the observational chops that have landed him gigs on Comedy Central and numerous late-night shows as well as a long run on Reno 911! as a nerd with an improbably dangerous private life. Other comics on the roster include rising Detroit stars Dwayne Gill, who often riffs on the divide between his identities as both a cop and comedian while weaving in anecdotes from his career, and Steve Bills, who finds the funny side of his city’s history and his less prestigious former jobs, including a stint as security guard for a dollar store. Jason Cooper’s set of fast-flying pop-culture references and Bob & Tom Show regular Dave Landau round out the evening.
