Q:

Exactly what is FanZone and does it require a ticket or paid admission if you have a ticket to the race? Is it just vendors? What does it mean follow signs to parking without a pass? How far away is that and how do you get a parking pass and how much is that?

pamula  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

The FanZone is within the ticket gates and contains vendor displays, merchandise haulers, music and live entertainment, a kids zone and much more. A race ticket will provide access to the FanZone. No additional paid admission is required. FanZone gates open at 7:00am and the race begins at 12:00pm on Sunday March 24th. Parking at Auto Club Speedway is free and parking passes cannot be purchased. General Parking for guests without a parking pass is located along the backstretch. Trams will be available to take you from General Parking to the Will Call ticket office at Gate 16. For more information regarding directions and parking visit the track's website: http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Visitors-Guide/Getting-Here.aspx

Q:

Who determines the "best available"? I prefer turn 1 - what happens if the track decides turn 4 is the best available??

Denise K.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Guests are welcome to request a preferred location at the time of redemption, but tickets are distributed on race day on a first-come, first-served basis and there is no guarantee regarding the specific sections that will be available.

Q:

are the tickets transferable if i cannot go? what if it rains?

Pamela B.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

The tickets are transferrable. To transfer tickets you will need to email the Auto Club Speedway ticket office in advance of the race to provide the name of the redeemer. That person can then redeem the vouchers using their ID at the Will Call Ticket Office near gate 16 on the day of the race. In the event of rain, vouchers will be honored on the rescheduled race day.
