Master Illusionist Lyn Dillies
Magic isn’t just a job for Lyn Dillies—it’s a lifelong dream. Ever since she was a little girl marveling at Bill Bixby’s illusionary crime-solving technique in The Magician, she’s been determined to dazzle audiences with feats of her own. And that’s just what she does in her jaw-dropping stage show. As one of the few female illusionists in the world, she’s made magical history as the only performer to conjure two Asian elephants at once in front of a live audience, and specializes in such tricks as a impossibly twisting her cue ball-headed assistant and squeezing herself into a one-foot-tall space.
Built in 1924, the Park Theatre was as a cultural landmark for nearly eight decades until its closing in 2002. Following seven years and $10 million in renovations, the Park was reborn as a brand-new performing arts center. A fully-equipped, state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility, the Park features concerts, theatrical performances, opera, dance, children’s and family shows, and more. Through extensive renovations, the Park boasts a larger, deeper stage and 1,000 plush seats with significantly more legroom than most theaters.
