Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime
Badfish performing "Smoke Two Joints" * How long they've carried the Sublime torch: since 1996 * What puts them head and shoulders above other Sublime tribute acts: besides mastering the good-time essence, upstroke guitar, and copious genre-bending, they've developed an arena-filling fanbase of their own * Other things they've got, besides lovin': press from [Spin](http://cegmusic.com/mailers/badfish/Spin_Article_low_rez.pdf) and [Rolling Stone](http://www.badfish.com/press/Rolling_Stones_04-29-10.pdf), who heralded them as “one of the most successful tribute bands out there.” * How the real Sublime would feel about Badfish: They'd probably love them, considering that Sublime's drummer Bud Gaugh is a fan. His band Del Mar has even opened for Badfish. ####Legends of Guitar Tribute Show
Crossroads performing Eric Clapton * Guitar legends being celebrated: Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix * Band bringing the Clapton: Crossroads * How they achieve Clapton's guitar genius: by having dual Eric Claptons in the band, whom they've dubbed as "The Claptones" * The ringer of "The Claptones": Ric "Bluesfuze" Arra, who looks like Eric, sings like Eric, shaves like Eric, and would probably attempt to marry Pattie Boyd like Eric * Clapton eras they cover: the whole shebang, from the early days of Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes to his solo material * Hits you're bound to hear performed with note-perfect accuracy: "Layla," "After Midnight," "Wonderful Tonight" * The ringer of The Hendrix Experience: goes by the stage name Tendure * Tendure's tricks: a prodigy guitar player since the age of 5 who looks like Jimi, plays left-handed like Jimi, and even recorded with Jimi's rhythm section of Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox ####House of Blues Orlando Perched in Downtown Disney West Side, House of Blues Orlando resembles something of a backwoods theme park itself. Giant signs herald the venue from atop an old water tower taken from Mickey Mouse’s ancestral estate, and between trees wrapped entirely in twinkling lights stands a sprawling, neon-lit wooden roadhouse. Inside, the stage and lantern-strung patio bustle with boisterous entertainments nearly every night. A box of Delta Mississippi mud beneath its stage links the building to its sister locations across the country.
