What You’ll Do
Any great work of art can take on a life of its own—but terrariums truly live and breathe. During her two-hour workshop, florist Lilli Black teaches participants how to create their own glass-enclosed sculptures, drawing inspiration (and materials) from her shop, Bella Calla. At the class’s end, take home your creation and the knowledge necessary for it to thrive.

Lilli Black
Terrainmaster
Growing up amid the Houmas House Plantation’s verdant gardens and 300-year-old oaks in Southern Louisiana, Lilli Black found an early love for nature and art that never faded. Although she enrolled in art school and dabbled in painting, the dirt continued calling her. So she opened Bella Calla, and there combines her passion for plants with her love of art as she creates vibrant floral arrangements and tasteful terrariums.
