Blue Ridge Music Festival

Saturday

  • Brad Paisley: The laid-back country singer combines humor and heart in hits such as “Ticks” and “Beat This Summer,” a style that has earned him three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 14 Country Music Association Awards.
  • Jerrod Niemann: Having grown up on the music of country legends such as Lefty Frizzell and George Strait, Niemann embraces the genre’s roots while hopscotching through rock, reggae, and Dixieland jazz and totally disregarding linear time—his No. 1 hit “Drink to That All Night” comes from latest album High Noon.
  • Charlie Daniels Band: Daniels has been crafting Southern rock-tinged country tunes on his rabble-rousing fiddle for more than 50 years, including his massive hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

Sunday

  • Florida Georgia Line: The respective dukes of Florida and Georgia, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, first convened on the neutral ground to forge a brand of country-pop that would please subjects of all realms. Ever since, they’ve been rolling out a string of No. 1 hits, including “Cruise” and “This Is How We Roll.”
  • Colt Ford: The pro- golfer-turned-musician is used to mixing it up, whether he’s grabbing inspiration from hip hop, remixing Montgomery Gentry’s “Roll With Me,” or pumping up crowds with “Buck ‘Em,” the theme song for the Professional Bull Riders Association.
  • Dustin Lynch: This young country star blends a Clint Black–esque sensibility with edgy pop influences in songs such as “Where It’s At” and “Hell of a Night.”
