Q:

What is different (if anything) about the "Preview Show" on the 23rd vs. the other nights? Is it the same exact show??

Robin M.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

The show is technically the same, why we offer it for less is because it is the first-ever audience of the show, which for many people is exciting, but as with any live theater production, the show generally will improve over time the more chances the cast gets to perform it! Most Broadway shows do about 30-40 preview performances before the official opening night as they tighten up the show, we at the community theater level usually just do one (if any at all) Hope that helps!

Q:

The fine print for this offer says" Discount reflects Bridgeport Theatre Company's current ticket prices-price may differ on day of the event." Does this mean that on the day of the event I may have to pay more?

Jessica B.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

What it basically means is that after this Groupon ends then prices go back to regular prices. If you buy the Groupon your tickets are all set. If you don't buy it and wait, yeah tickets go back to regular prices, meaning yes you would pay more. That is basically how any Groupon works.
