PRS Frontier Challenge
White knuckles. That’s what the PRS Frontier Challenge results in. White knuckles for audience members and white knuckles for the riders who’re hanging on for dear life. Because there’s a lot of glory on the line—bareback, saddle-bronc, and bull-riding competitions set to determine who the best of the best are—and those steers and steeds are plenty strong.
Among the star-studded roster is Brian Bain in bareback, defending his PRS World Champion title, as well as former PBR world finalist McKennon Wimberly in bull riding. The saddle bronc field is impressive, too, headlined by PRS points leader JJ Elshere. But the skills aren’t limited to just the humans: nearly $2 million worth of equine and bovine talent from all over the country will be present for the seventh stop on the nationally televised 2015 PRS Tour. And the fact that this is stop number seven means that the cowboys should be fully locked in and the horses and bulls should be totally warmed up to the idea of giving out autographs.
