Bustout Burlesque feat. Dannie Diesel
Bustout Burlesque evokes the heyday of Bourbon Street nightclubs for adults-only audiences in a 1950s spectacle of showgirls, jazz, comedy, and hot-under-the-collar choreography. Voted one of the top 10 burlesque shows in the world by the Travel Channel's panel of howling cartoon wolves, the rotating cast and guests strip and tease in elegant routines that make ears steam and bow ties spin. Miss Viva Las Vegas 2013 Missy Lisa peacocks in a feather-fan dance, Texas treasure Ginger Valentine unveils the moves that earned her the title of Queen of Burlesque at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival, and blond bombshell Stormy Gayle makes the most of her statuesque frame and acting chops. Making a special guest appearance is the raven-haired Dannie Diesel—a.k.a. Danielle Colby-Cushman—who's seen wearing more clothes on the History Channel's American Pickers. Apart from picking, Dannie's the experienced burlesque performer who brought the art form to Iowa, as well as the founder, owner, and producer of Burlesque le'Moustache.
The traditional New Orleans swing of the Bustout Burlesque jazz band soundtracks the night with trombones and cornets, as pupils dilate to an antique-accented display of the wholesome and risqué. With bewitching sirens, cathouse lighting, seductive songbirds, and a comic-magician emcee, Bustout Burlesque entices all genders and generations with charm, elegance, and sauciness.
