Carolina Comedy Club
It might seem only natural that a massive plaza named Broadway at the Beach would have plenty of live entertainment on tap, but until 2013, the one thing it didn’t have was a comedy club. Carolina Comedy Club has rectified the situation with lineups of comics humanely sourced from the likes of The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, and Chelsea Lately. There’s a strict ban on frozen snacks in the kitchen—instead, chefs get playful with the standards, creating bites such as barbecue-chicken wontons and sriracha shrimp.
