Former championship winners include U.S. Olympians and notorious knucklers Joe Louis (‘34), Sonny Liston (‘53), and beat-poetry pioneer Cassius Clay (‘59, ‘60), along with illustrious alumni such as Michael “Lord of the Dance” Flatley.
