The Scouting Report
Despite a solid 10–8 record, 2012 marked the first time in franchise history that the Rush did not advance to the postseason because of fierce competition in the National Conference. In 2013, the team seeks to reclaim its throne atop the Central Division, bursting from the tunnel at Allstate Arena fueled by an appetite for soaring scores and punishing hits. Three-time AFL champion Bob McMillen returns to the sidelines as head coach, leading a roster that stars wide receiver "Big Play" Reggie Gray and fullback J.J. Payne, a Western Illinois alumnus who led the team in rushing last season.
Padded walls and netted goalposts surround Allstate Arena's 50-yard indoor gridiron, on which mascot Grabowski and the Adrenaline Rush dance team entertain crowds during breaks in the action. After each bout, Rush fans can congregate at the front-row boards, where players sign autographs and T-shirt cannon nonproliferation treaties.

About Chicago Rush
A member of the Arena Football League since 2001, the Chicago Rush have embodied excellence from their first year of competition. The team reached the playoffs in each of its first 10 seasons, taking home the 2006 league title in ArenaBowl XX. The Rush vie for control of the National Conference’s Central Division with the support of droves of fans and the Adrenaline Rush cheerleaders. Additional encouragement comes from construction-worker mascot Grabowski, a name coined by Chicago icon Mike Ditka to describe the hard-working, tough nature of the players and the excellent construction of Allstate Arena.
