Without laughter, playgrounds would be silent except for the creaking of old swing sets and the trickling of tears into belowground aquifers. • For $14, you get two tickets for general admission to an upcoming comedy show (up to a $33.60 value, including all fees).
  • For $25, you get four tickets for general admission to an upcoming comedy show (up to a $67.20 value, including all fees).

Roaring laughter echoes across Cinema Grill’s Big Laughs Comedy Club every weekend, with a rotating lineup of comedians tickling audience funny bones with their feathery punch lines. Upcoming comics include Miss Shannan Paul (September 21–22), the multitalented actress, radio show cohost, and ex-professional-football player. She recently performed on NickMom Nite Out and soon will be appearing on the Style Network’s How Do I Look? At the end of the summer, after stopping by the Minnesota State Fair, she blogged about commanding her willpower to “stay off the state fair food train,” remaining strong “even as [she] was serenaded by the dulcet songs of cheese curds.”

A former radio personality who spent most of her teenage years homeless, Kim Kerley’s (September 28–29) comedy often finds the funny in life’s most challenging circumstances. In a recent blog post about turning 50 years old, she admits she’s found a convenient way to explain away any undesirable personality traits: “Weight gain? Estrogen. Spending too much? Estrogen. Unable to focus in one direction? Estrogen.”

Customer Reviews

Great valu

The Cinema Grill is old and needs some paint and repair but the bottom line is it is inexpensive and fun. We enjoyed getting out and seeing movies on the big screen instead of the little TV screen. The food was good - better than we expected. I would buy a pass again if it was offered. We took turns taking our grandchildren to the movies.
