In a comfortable dinner club awash in red lighting, Comedy Quarter continues a 20-year tradition of rib-tickling by hosting the antics of merrymakers from across the states. The upcoming schedule showcases laugh masters including New York City native Andy Hendrickson (September 19–22), who often jokes about competing with his overachieving brother and has made appearances on HBO and the Bob & Tom Show on SiriusXM Radio. PBS-featured comedian Big Al Goodwin (September 26–29) keeps the chuckles coming with squeaky-clean punch lines that don’t resort to profanity, blue humor, or feather ticklers for cheap laughs.
While laughing along, showgoers enjoy a healthy vegetarian or thai-chili-chicken wrap, or a hot, hearty sandwich, such as a classic french dip or a sweet, grilled Hawaiian-chicken hero. Bottled beer and wine backed by an armada of sweet specialty drinks make the two-drink minimum easily attainable even for those insistent upon using slow-flowing crazy straws.
