Self-proclaimed "King of the South" T.I. tends not to run from trouble, but he's always managed to move past it when it catches up with him. With an introspective new album, No Mercy, and a novel entitled Power and Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets, T.I. maintains his designation as a rap powerhouse. He's ventured into other lines of work as an actor, producer, and entrepreneur, but he's not ready to leave rap behind just yet—the album he plans to release in December will be called Trouble Man.

Rolling Stone reports that the new batch of tracks should weave together strands from throughout T.I.'s career with "a good balance of vintage trap fare for T.I. purists . . . as well as radio-ready cuts for those who like their T.I. high on melody and charm." The former mode first caught the public's ear in 2003, with the vicious bark of “Never Scared,” a collaboration with Bone Crusher. From then through 2010, he racked up a staggering 61 awards—including three Grammys and nine BET Hip Hop Awards—with his prolific output. At his grittiest, he's been a war journalist reporting in medias res on street life and semiautomatics; at his most melodic, he’s been a poet of peace, dropping rhymes between lilting choruses and illuminating the joys of living across epic beats in megahits such as “Whatever You Like” and the Rihanna duet “Live Your Life.”

In concert, audiences can expect to hear old favorites as well sneak previews from the new album, which will include the voices of guest stars such as R. Kelly, A$AP Rocky, Pink, and Lil’ Wayne upon its release. Kirko Bangz, the industrious Houston rapper behind the hit “Drank in My Cup,” kicks off the show with slow-burning rhymes from his latest mixtape, Procrastination Kills 4, showing where his allegiance lies in the turf war between grasshoppers and ants.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.
