What You’ll Do
Basics facts about oysters—Where do they come from? How do they differ from one another?—can be as murky as the waters they inhabit. During this two-hour workshop, seafood expert Crystal Cun demystifies the oyster, answering common questions and giving a hands-on demonstration on how to shuck your own mollusks. In between the 101 lesson and shucking practice, you’ll develop an understanding of oyster flavor profiles with a tasting of 5 distinct varieties (2 of each) from the East and West Coasts.
