Dad’s Garage Theatre Company celebrates the upcoming nuptials between two of its most prominent members with an evening of art, music, and comedic merriment at the historic Goat Farm Arts Center. Partying the night before they walk down the aisle, company artistic director Kevin Gillese and ensemble member Amber Nash—best known as the voice of Pam on FX’s Archer—beckon their friends from around the globe to tickle the audience’s funnybones in honor of their union. Hailing from the groom’s homeland in the frosty north, Canadian actors Chris Craddock and Kurt Smeaton rustle up laughs with riotous sets, before Dad’s Garage member and Archer voice actor Lucky Yates inverts frowns with his rib-tickling puppetry. Dan Triandiflou, winner of Creative Loafing’s 2012 Best Actor Award, joins Gillese for a performance of sketches from their hit stage show The Revengence.

Also scheduled to perform, quirky and always-energetic electronic genius Cousin Dan keeps feet moving with his kinetic beats, distorted crooning, and expertly tossed bang snaps. Rounding out the evening’s diverse bill, The Zoetic Dance Ensemble embodies a wide spectrum of emotions through innovative choreography that explores the potential of human movement. <p>

The Goat Farm Arts Center

The Goat Farm Arts Center, recognized by Creative Loafing as The Best Place to Witness the Local Arts Renaissance, occupies a renovated Victorian-era cotton gin. A historic site that was underused and in danger of being forgotten, the 12-acre center now plays host to such innovative groups as dance company gloATL and the theater troupe Saiah. Operating under a unique, for-profit model, the center regularly sponsors exhibitions, concerts, and full-contact blinking contests.
